Study Overview
Hypospadias is the abnormal development of the urethra, the tube inside the shaft of the penis through which urine flows. The goal of the study is to understand the genetics of hypospadias to prevent future health issues for children and reduce stress for parents.

What to Expect During the Study
Participants will be consented to the study and have a buccal swab or saliva sample retrieved from them. If surgery occurs, the participant may have a blood sample taken from them. Parents will provide a saliva sample and may answer some surveys pertaining to their child’s condition.
