Jill Meyers, MSW
Jill Meyers is a clinical social worker at the UCSF Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center. She specializes in cancer care and provides practical and emotional support to patients diagnosed with head and neck cancer, melanoma, thyroid cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and urogenitary cancer.
Meyers earned a master's degree in social work at Boston University. Prior to joining UCSF, she worked for more than a decade at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, where she was a clinical social worker specializing in hematology/oncology and surgical traumas.
Light refreshments will be served. Open to all bladder cancer patients and their partners, caregivers, and family. Due to the focus and intimacy of a support group it is closed to others.
As an ongoing reminder, the group will ALWAYS meet the first Thursday of each month, same time and location, whether there is a speaker scheduled or not.
