Associate Professor of Urology, Benjamin N. Breyer, MD, MAS, has been awarded a TICR Program Teaching Award. TICR is the Training in Clinical Research masters program at UCSF whose mission is to increase the number of quality clinical investigators engaged in patient-oriented, translational, epidemiologic, behavioral, outcomes or health services research. The awards are given annually to honor one TICR faculty member, one TICR scholar who served as a teaching assistant during the past year, and one faculty advisor. These awards recognize outstanding teaching in the TICR Program.
Current scholars nominate faculty members who provide outstanding advising. Given the judges, the award speaks to Dr. Breyer’s dedication to teaching excellence and making important connections with his mentees.
