According to the 2022 AUA Census, only 2.2% of Urologists identify as Black & 4.9% as Hispanic.

The UReTER Mentorship Program was created by UCSF Urology residents specifically for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and Latinx Urology applicants.

We are excited to share that we are opening up this mentorship program to include Urology residents across the U.S with a goal to create an annual opportunity for Urology to improve its diversity through resident-led mentorship of applicants who are underrepresented in our field.

Please sign up to help fight structural racism and increase the number of Black, Latinx, and Native American/Indigenous Urologists.
