AUA Daily Scoop Highlights Research From Hillary Copp, MD, MS

Under the direction of Hillary Copp, MD, MS; Tom Gaither et al AUA Daily Scooppublished research on Risk Factors for the Development of Bladder and Bowel Dysfunction (BBD) in Pediatrics which was selected for AUA Daily Scoop on January 8th, 2018. 

The research, a collaboration between UCSF Pediatric Urology and the University of Iowa, concludes that dilating reflux and female sex were identified as risk factors for development of BBD, but neither BMI nor prophylactic antibiotics was associated with the development of BBD.
