Team Led by UCSF Urology Surveys 3,118 Women Cyclists

Benjamin Breyer, MD, MAS et al surveyed 3,118 women Woman cyclistcyclists debunking smaller studies that found possible relationship between cycling and sexual dysfunction.  This is the largest study comparing women cyclists to other athletes with respect to sexual and urinary function. The findings showed that women cyclists were no more likely to report sexual dysfunction or urinary symptoms than swimmers or runners.
