Men With Prostate Cancer Should Eat Healthy Vegetable Fats

UCSF Public Affairs writer Elizabeth Fernandez reports on new research regarding prostate cancer and the benefits of substituting healthy vegetable fats – such as olive and canola oils, nuts, seeds and avocados – for animal fats and carbohydrates.  Lead author on the paper, published in JAMA, is Erin L. Richman, ScD, a post-doctoral scholar in the UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
