Prostate Cancer Program Retreat at Genentech Hall
September 9, 2013
This year's Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center Prostate Cancer Program Retreat will highlight the three principal components of the Program and its research: Discovery, Development and Delivery.
Discovery will focus on presentations from laboratory scientists at UCSF working on prostate cancer induction and progression. Development will highlight and facilitate presentations on clinical trials, therapeutics and biomarkers being tested at UCSF and elsewhere. Delivery will focus on development of novel clinical offerings for patients such as the high risk clinic and active surveillance program, as well as the trends being observed nationally through UCSF – led patient registries.
Prostate Cancer Program leadership will review the major ongoing efforts across the entire spectrum of disease underway including developing precision-based approaches for both early and late – stage disease. As in prior years, there will be a poster session competition, and lunch will be provided as well.
Formal invitation forthcoming.
Please submit abstracts to Kim Goldfien at [email protected] no later than August 30th.
