Anne M. Suskind, MD, MS Wins 2020 SUFU Zimskind Award For Work With Frail Older Adults

Anne M. Suskind, MD, MS, FACS, FPM-RS, Associate Professor of Urology; Frail older adultsObstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences and Director, Neurourology, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery has been given the 2020 Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU) Zimskind Award.  She is being recognized for her cumulative work in the area of female urologic issues in frail older adults.  She will receive the award during the February annual meeting.

The award was established in 1979 to honor the prolific achievements of Paul D. Zimskind, Jr. MD, PhD whose research in fluorourodynamics, renal and ureteral preservation for transplantation, influenced the field.  The award is given annually to an SUFU member, who is within ten years of completing residency or fellowship, and have made significant contributions to the field, primarily through basic and clinical research, and has shown great potential for continuing and progressive scholarship.
