Benjamin Breyer, MD, MAS, FACS Appointed New Chair of UCSF Department of Urology

Benjamin Breyer, MD, MAS, FACSTalmadge E. King, Jr., MD, Dean, UCSF School of Medicine announced earlier today that Benjamin Breyer, MD, MAS, FACS has been named the new chair for UCSF Department of Urology effective July 1, 2023.  Dr. Breyer joined the faculty in 2011 and is a Professor in Residence holding appointments in both the Departments of Urology and Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He is the Frank Hinman, Jr, MD Endowed Professor in Urologic Education. He is Associate Chair for Education and Residency Program Director, Chief of Urology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery, Chief of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at UCSF Health and Program Director for Genitourinary Reconstructive Fellowship.
