Prostate Cancer One-time exercise test $100 gift card
  and blood/urine donation at UCSF;  
  surveys completed at home.  
     

What is the purpose of this study?

 

We are conducting a study of cardiopulmonary fitness among men choosing active surveillance for early stage/low grade prostate cancer. This study is open to men who are on Active Surveillance for localized prostate cancer. Participants who complete the one-time study assessment will receive $100.

  • Are at least age 18.
  • Have localized prostate cancer and are being managed with active surveillance.
  • Can read English.
  • You have been treated for prostate cancer.                                       

Frequently Asked Questions

Answer survey questions about demographics, diet, exercise, smoking, and quality of life.
Come onsite to UCSF to donate blood/urine and complete a cardiopulmonary exercise test (documentation of negative COVID19 test may be required).

Those who take part can receive up to $100.
