The UCSF Department of Urology is pleased to announce David Bayne, MD, MPH, as the newly appointed co-Program Director for the Endourology Fellowship Program alongside Dr. Marshall Stoller, effective January 1, 2025.
Dr. Bayne currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology and Chief of Urology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. He received his BA in Biochemistry from Harvard College in 2006. He subsequently earned his MD from Harvard Medical School in 2012 and an MPH in Health Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2017. His residency in Urology was completed at UCSF in 2018, followed by a fellowship in Endourology at UCSF in 2020.
Dr. Bayne is also actively involved in global urological surgery in addition to spearheading the urology residency skills lab. More information about Dr. Bayne can be found on his profile page.
The Endourology Fellowship program at UCSF is accredited by the Endourological Society and is considered a Non-Standard Training (NST) program with ACGME oversight. The program provides multidisciplinary training, encompassing research and clinical practice, in all facets of endourology and laparoscopic surgery.
