It was a hot day around San Francisco's Lake Merced, Saturday, September 19th for the Third Annual Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. UCSF Urology was well represented among the1500+ attendees.

Our TEAM UCSF is growing and, so can you! SEPTEMBEARD asks volunteers to grow beards during September and raise funds for prostate cancer research.

Anne Suskind, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Urology received a two-year RO3 GEMSSTAR grant issued by the National Institute of Health - National Institute on Aging (NIH-NIA) to study outcomes related to common urologic procedures in frail nursing home residents.

The Journal of the American Medical Association published research on bicycle injuries led by Benjamin Breyer, MD, MAS with Tom Sanford, MD first author.
