Sima Porten, MD, MPH was selected as one of the final seven proposals to receive OptumLabs-funded access to its database of de-identified, linked clinical and administrative claims information.

Dr. Suskind is being recognized for her cumulative work in the area of female urologic issues in frail older adults.  She will receive the award during the February SUFU annual meeting.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are cells shed by primary or disseminated tumors. They are easily obtained with a peripheral blood draw and therefore allow for a minimally invasive way to monitor tumor progression.
